Last One

Last blog post of the semester, yay!!  I'm so excited.  Sorry, prof. H, the blog post is a good idea just not my cup of tea. But I do give you props that it's an easy assignment.  Wow this semester just flew by!  I have one more full week of classes then finals.  I'm really starting to get nervous!  This weekend should be fun though!  My boyfriend is coming to visit me and then take me to Indianapolis to see the Cowboys v. Colts game.  As you all should know, I'm a die hard Dallas Cowboys fan and incase you don't know he's a die hard Colts fan.  So this game is going to be interesting!  I really don't have much to say just that I'm really excited for the game, it's also my first ever NFL game!  Well blog post you've been fun, but I'm out!!  :)

Time for a break

I don't know about anyone else but Thanksgiving break couldn't come sooner!  This is a much needed break.  I absolutely hate when things start getting redundet. It feels living everyday was exactly like the last. MWF wake up at 8 shower, go to math, then straight to english, then straight to german, back to the dorm, maybe nap or eat, then its time for american nat gov, then homework, gym, dinner, sorority stuff or nothing, and TR sleep in till 11:30, sociology, homework, gym, nothingness.  I just hate how boring it all is!  There's a quote by Mario Andretti that I've tried to live by now,  "If everything's under control, you're going too slow."  I just love it so much!  So this Thanksgiving break will do just that, give me a break from my boring schedule like life.

Annoyed, perhaps.

I'm getting just a tad tired of pointless 9am classes, especially when I just use it as a study hall or facebook.  Hence where and what I'm doing this exact moment.  Now I would pay attention in this math class if the professor didn't steal other people's slides and just read them, but he doesn't so oh well.  Another thing that annoys me is weird people.  I'm not talking about the people that have the small annoying habit they do, I'm talking about the full on freaks like they dress completely out of the normal and just scream out for attention.  I just don't get it, and it really bothers me for some reason.  Anyways I had a pretty good week.  I went home to Indianapolis Wed night and saw my mom and sister so that was fun.  And last night I played soccer, which we lost, and then hung out with some friends that came up from Indy.  Tonight is Twister Tournament so hopefully people will come since it's for a good cause: Brain Tumor Research.

First chance I get...

I swear first opportunity I get I'm so moving to Dallas, Texas.  I'm so sick and tired of Indiana's weather, especially the cold, wet rain/snow substance.  Mainly I just hate the cold.  Look at Texas, far down south so it's got to be warm and it's also right next to Mexico.  And have I said one of the best things Texas has?  DALLAS COWBOYS.  Ok I do know that they're absolutely dreadful this season, but thats not gonna make me hate them or become a fair-weather fan and jump on the Colts bandwagon.  Hmmm...  I don't know which is worse moving to Antarctica or becoming an Indianapolis Colts fan.  On other news I'm finally getting initiated into Kappa Delta this weekend.  Finally!  Oh and my mom might get a 2 month old lab puppy!  We already have a 3 year old yellow lab, but the humane society of Indianapolis has seven puppies, half are black the other half are brown.  I really do hope she gets one!

Here we go again...

Do you know what time it is?  Yepp, time for another weekly blog post.  I actually remembered this time, but atleast I'm actually getting it done before class unlike the majority.  So what to talk about? I got my second tattoo last weekend.  It says "life goes on" and its on my wrist.  My dad just recently found out that I have 2 tattoos and wasn't too pleased to find out about them.  I really cannot stand being the youngest in my family.  Like it doesn't matter how old I turn that year, my family will always see me as the baby and that I'm incapable of making decision.  I've always been so independent and even lived in another country and functioned just fine.  I moved away to go to college and guess what, I'm still fine.  I really don't get home sick and I can tell that drives me family crazy.  i guess that's just what I get for being the baby.  What else is new?  Just the fact I've been so busy!  I'm about to be initiated into my sorority though so that's awesome!

Research Paper

I guess in this week's blog post we're supposed to discuss how our research papers are going, like our groups, possible  topic, how we're advancing on getting it done.  Well I can't really respond to that.  I don't have a group, we don't have topics, we aren't getting very far...at all.  Well I do know that Jaavon is in my group, so I guess that's a start.  To tell the truth I hate working in groups.  I don't really trust other members and i feel like I can get to bossy, because I'm a perfectionist.  Well I guess i can think of some controversial topics that we could possibly do our research paper on.  This should be interesting since we can't  do common controversial topics most people my age have interest in.  So here goes nothin'...
-electric cars
-free speech and being able to picket american soldiers' funerals
-health care reform
-NYC mosque and ground zero
-border patrol in AZ
I don't know really this really confuses me now...

Nonsense.

I really have nothing to talk/write about right now.  I've been dreading this blog for a whole week, 7 whole days.  Well in all honestly I dread this blog all semester.  I never have anything interesting to say or atleast anything I'd like to share with everyone, no offense.  I've just had a terrible past few days that I'd rather not share, I mean it's bad enough when people keep asking me.  So what am I supposed to talk about?!  Perhaps how fucking annoying that my roommate's boyfriend from Purdue is always here.  I know I sound cynical, and I'm really not.  Its probably due to my shitty past few days or maybe I just have midterm blues.  I mean I'm usually really happy.  But on the bright side my birthday is on sunday, October 10, 2010...10/10/10. yay!  Ok I really have nothing left to talk about.  I strongly believe I've tortured myself enough.

High School

I can honestly say that I am so glad I'm no longer in high school.  Yeah, it did have its upsides but now that I look back on it I hated it.  I mean I had a really fun time and made a lot of friends, but the rest was crap!  It's so stupid!  Like having to ask to use the rest room and getting a passed signed to go.  And on top of the hassle to just get permission to go, you have to be interigated as to why you didn't go before or why you can't hold it in.  Obviously I did not have to pee before this class or I would have been late and got bitched at for that, and if I could hold I probably would so I wouldn't have to be getting bitched at for having a normal bodily function.  And who could forget all the high school drama!  "OMG So-and-So is dating This-or-That's ex boyfriend!"  "Do you see what she's wearing?!"  "He knocked her up?!"  You get my point, it's all about what others are wearing, whose shacking up with who, and whose dating your ex.  The sports suck!  You have absolutely no freedom and you're forced to eat the same disgusting food everyday.  Basically, I can wrap things up in three words: I love college!

I Don't Believe in Titles

Wanna know what I don't get?  I don't get why every single thing has to have a title!  Well, I suppose it is a whole lot easier to find things and know what they're about when they have a title.  But still, I hate having to put a title on things.  When saving essays and papers onto my computer I often write a bunch of bull shit words as the title to save it under.  If anyone ever had to get a paper off my laptop they would be so screwed because the documents they would most likely find would probably go something like this: This Class Blows Balls, Yay to Fatties that Die of Fat, As;djlfh, Stupid Teacher, and the list continues like that.  Those titles are fine for me and my computer because that ranting title will spark my mind and I will know what it is, but those titles are totally unacceptable to put on the actual paper and turn it in.  One of these days I probably will title one of my essays with one of my bull shit titles, like Castles are Big and Old or This Essay is about Mickey Mouse.  That would be so much easier.  You know those tools on Word like abc check or word counter, well I wish there was a tool on Word that could read your paper and generate a title for you.  Kinda like when we were younger and taking ISTEP and we would have to pick the best title for the essay, well thats how the tool would work, gives you a list and you pick the best title.  Well it looks like I've done enough ranting for one blog and actually came up with a title for this blog!

Oh!  Last thing, I REALLY miss diving!  I can't wait for Winter Break, because I get to go back to my old high school and practice with my old team again, or they practice while we alums get to screw around!

Just an update...

I am having such a hard time remembering to get on here and write a blog.  I don't know why either, I mean it's not like I'm never on my computer.  I get on to check my email, Facebook, listen to music, just about everything!  Well I have been pretty busy lately so maybe that's why this just slipped my mind.  I guess that means I should give everyone an update on what I've been up to and why this blog just totally slipped my mind.  First off, incase you didn't know last week was formal recruitment for all the sororities on campus.  Thursday and Friday was first rounds, Saturday was second rounds, Sunday was preferance rounds, and Monday was Bid Night.  That probably doesn't make much sense to those who didn't go through recruitment, but basically it was just visiting all the sororities and narrowing down which sorority you want to join but also which sorority wants you.  You would think this wouldn't take much from you, but believe me it was absolutely exhausting!  You have to do so much talking.  But I can honestly say it was well worth it.  Monday night I recieved a bid, or an invitation, from my top choice sorority, Kappa Delta, so of course I took it and am on my way to become a new member!  That's what has been eating up most of my time but there has been other little things, too.  I also recently met my boyfriend's family.  I was really nervous at first but I became more comfortable with them.  I had to write my memoir for English and study for my first math test, which is tomorrow!  I'm so nervous because I never understand what the professor is talking about, because he basically just reads his slides and doesn't explain anything!  And to top it all off I finally caught the cold that has been going around campus, but thankfully I'm now getting over it.  And with that note I better end this blog and study for that math exam and work on my memoir!
